What is Emotion Text Analysis?​

Emotion text analysis predicts the emotion, or feeling, of an author of a text. As emotions occur in response to a stimulus such as an physical event or a social interaction, they allow us to draw conclusions to the emotional connection of the author to the topic that has been mentioned in a text. Based on Paul Ekman‘s Universal Emotions model, our API detects seven emotions out of texts: anger, contempt, disgust, enjoyment, fear, sadness, surprise.​
